Year 3 and Year 4 have come to school today dressed up as Anglo Saxons. They have been digging for Anglo Saxon treasure, weaving and making Anglo Saxon cakes as part of their History and Geography lessons.   In Literacy the children have been reading "The Wolf's Footprint" which was set in Anglo Saxon times.

Maths in the Hall

Mrs Kirby laid out a number route in the hall and each maths group had a

specific route to follow on a sheet of paper to create a number sentence and

work out the answer.

The children used a number line for addition and subtraction calculations.
