Throughout school children are taking part in our Global Project learning about countries all over the world.
This year our children have been learning about different parts of our world through many cross curricular lessons and activities. We are celebrating over the next few weeks by welcoming a number of visitors into school from South American animals, llama, Hawaiian singing instructor, a textile artist, a church group writing prayers for our world, a geologist, African drumming, a waltz instructor, relax kids, mind craft, charity days, American dance and Indian shadow puppet workshops, visits to Thai restaurant, dress up day and many more fantastic learning opportunities to bring a flavour of the wider world into our children’s curriculum. This has all been captured by a film crew and will be able to view early in the new academic year as a celebration of the breadth of curriculum we are providing for our learners. We all have been so busy having fun whilst creating fantastic memories and learning opportunities so that our children gain a deeper knowledge of life outside our locality.
