Admissions

We are so pleased that you are considering The Bishop Harvey Goodwin School for your child. We cater for children aged three to eleven years of age. Children aged three can attend our nursery. Children are admitted to our Reception class at the beginning of the school year in which their fifth birthday occurs. Admissions for a reception place close on 15th January each year.

If you would like to apply for a place in our Reception year group for the coming academic year, you must apply to Cumbria County Council for a place. Please click here for full details on how to apply: Apply for a school place or change schools | Cumberland Council

Come and visit us

We encourage all prospective parents to visit the school, to meet staff and pupils, and discuss your child’s transition. We look forward to showing you around.

Please book an appointment by calling our School Administrator, Mrs Teresa Calvert, on 01228 590794 or e-mail: admin@bishopharveygoodwin.cumbria.sch.uk
