Summer 1 2023

We had a great day celebrating the Coronation of King Charles on Friday 5th May. Our House Captains selected our events - crown making, procession of Houses into Worship, sharing our exploration of the Coronation as classes, a special crown photo involving the whole school and an amazing lunch. The lunch included Coronation sandwiches, Prince's Pizza, Queen pudding and crown biscuits as a buffet. Year 3 sand our Coronation Songs to the elderly residents at Currock House as part of their Big Help out. The winners of the King's prayer won a specially donated Bible. The governors donated a Book to each class about King Charles and a special photograph album of his life for our school library. It was a memorable day.
