Year 6 Leavers at the Cathedral July 2022 and Labyrinth Tile
The Cathedral invited all Year 6 pupils in Church schools to celebrate 900 years of Carlisle Cathedral. This was done by all schools creating three tiles based on the theme of journeys. All the tiles are to be put together to form a mosaic. Here are our designs and final tiles. We shared them with school in a whole school worship.
Here is the final result which all Year 6 will share when we join together in the Cathedral Year 6 Leavers Service on Wednesday 15th June 2022.
We then met with other Church Schools at the Cathedral on Wednesday 15th June for a celebration Worship. We all were given a wrist band 'FROG : Forever Rely On God' and every school was given a Leavers Candle to take back to school. We really enjoyed processing with our school banners and it was a wonderful opportunity to visit Bishop Goodwin's memorial and see the cathedral ceiling stars which our gallery is based on.
