World Book Day

World Book Day

Today we have really enjoyed celebrating world book day.  We came to school in our comfy pyjamas and enjoyed a hot chocolate and marshmallows with some of our friends in other classes.

We listen to a message from the author Sophie Anderson who invited us to grab our favourite book to spark our imagination….. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HJ9dcMjX67Q

We chose our favourite books to share and had lots of stories.  We looked at the main characters in our favourite books and used our creativity to make a ‘Spoon Character.’ 

We listened to the world book day rap and thought about the many different books we had already shared in our classroom from the song.  You may like to listen to this again at home….

We all took a book home from our ‘book swap shop’ and a voucher to choose our own new book from the shop.
