We made our poppies to remember all the soldiers who had died in the war. The children choose how they wanted to make their poppies either with dough, painting, collage, building with bricks or drawing a poppy.

  • Foundation Stage Children In Need

    Thu 26 Jan 2023

On the 18th November 2022 the children in Foundation Stage had lots of fun celebrating Children In Need. We had a non-uniform day and we enjoyed taking part in an outdoor orienteering activity.

    • We had to follow our maps to find Pudsey Bear
    • Pudsey Bear then gave us a challenge to do at each orienteering point
    • Once we had completed the challenge we got a pudsey spot each which we collected to place on the Big Pudsey Bear
    • We then told Pudsey the route we took to find his spots and where these were positioned around our outdoor area
  • Foundation Stage Bonfire Night

    Thu 26 Jan 2023

On 3rd November 2022, Foundation Stage had a visit from our school mini-police who came to tell us all about how to stay safe on Bonfire night. They had some great safety tips for us and we listened to these really carefully.

We then went to watch some fireworks to create our firework dance to the song of 'Fireworks' by Katy Perry. We created 'Fireworks' pictures thinking about how we could represent the sounds the fireworks made in our pictures using different movements-Whoosh, Bang, Fizz, Crackle, Pop, Spin, Zoom!!

Fireman Sam also has some useful tips to keep us safe on Bonfire night. You could watch these again at home at:
