Autumn 1 Values Day 2023 - Respect for the environment
Focus: To express respect and reverence (awe and wonder) for the natural environment through the arts.
Bible verses: Psalm 24 Verses 1 and 2
The Earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world and all who live in it; for he founded it on the seas and established it on the waters.
God created the world and it belongs to him, therefore we should respect the Earth and everything in it, in the same way that we would respect anything that belongs to someone else. We are stewards of creation for a short time until we hand the baton on to the next generation.
