On Wednesday 4th May, Year 5 walked to St Johns to visit Revd Richard Goodfellow. He talked to the pupils about why the Eucharist is important to Christians, different names for the Eucharist and the differences in Catholic and Anglican traditions. Pupils were invited to gather around the alter to talk about the bread and wine. Revd Richard put on his robe and stole. The stole was white as we are still in the season of Easter. We lined up and each took our turn to receive the bread if we wished.
