Do Good Wins Group - We are Change Agents !!!

'Speak up for people who cannot speak for themselves. Protect the right of all who are helpless.' Proverbs 31:8

At our school we are speaking out for those who cannot. We say 'if you have a voice , you have a choice.'. We understand that in the world today not everyone has a choice like we have and so we seek to make changes for the future. In one of our House Meetings the children decided to start a group for change using a play on our school vision and decided to call themselves a 'Do Good Wins Group' . The group is made up of children from different year groups. 

Examples in school

• House Meetings - making all our events fair and all can access to all financially 
• Working towards climate change - saving energy in school, writing to our local MP
• Lesson and Collective Worships - Asking Big questions, challenge injustice in the world and take action to change
• Supporting charity - Christian Aid where pupils raise money for seeds so that there is sustainability in crops
• Gaining insight into disability and how to treat everyone - Wheelchair basketball. This has helped us see injustice and to know how to tackle it if we see it in the future
• Local issues - the Queen's Canopy tree, requesting bird needs for our grounds
