Our Grounds

At The Bishop Harvey Goodwin School we are very lucky to have extensive grounds and green spaces. This includes a large field for playtimes and PE/coaching, individual large tarmac playgrounds for Key Stage 0ne and Two, an adventure playground. Our Foundation Stage has an external large play space for bikes with outdoor water, sand and climbing facilities and an indoor courtyard for gardening, reading and small world play. 

 

We are an outdoor school and encourage children to go outside at all opportunities. Foundation Stage have wellies and outdoor suits to enable this. We recognise that our children learn effectively when they are active so we taken on a whole school cross curricular orienteering project which is unique to our wonderful grounds.
